Photo Shoot

Grandma Loerch had a photo shoot with Emma on Friday morning!!!  She wanted to get a "official" 2 year picture for Emma:)  So here are some that Em cooperated on...

Em and El share birthdays tomorrow, and Elliott and I can hardly contain ourselves we are so excited for it!

Big Girl... Bigger Dog!!!

Em is turning into a bit of a climber!  I was trying to do my hair the other day and came out of the bathroom to find em on the window ledge on top of her play kitchen!!!!!!  Although I guess at this point when I was little I was already crawling out of mu crib, so thank goodness we aren't there yet!

You can see that Cooper continues to grow:)  He is so good with Emma and she LOVES to crawl all over him daily.

We are officially into the terrible twos.  One of her favorite pass-times (especially when she is tired) is to hit her mom!  Seriously, where is the Super Nanny when you need her?  So we have a new timer that we set for time-outs.  Well yesterday morning Emma was especially unhappy (then AFTER I realized that I can feel her molars coming in - poor girl!) and hit me and said "timeout emma", then we went to timeout, when she was done she came over and hit me and said "time-out, time-out"....  Lord help us!!!!!

No Thank You

These pictures from this morning look very cute and innocent, so sweet.  And Emma is MOSTLY all of those words... but there is a side of her that likes to hit you and then stay "stop", "no, mommy", or "shhhhhh" (very strongly!!!).  Well today we had a little talk about if she says "no thank you" it is nicer and then I can "stop" whatever it is I am doing that is wrong (usually singing a song the wrong way apparently, or moving the wrong way, or talking the wrong way:)

So tonight I was putting her to bed and singing "lullaby" as I always do, and she says "no mommy, no thank you"......!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good lord, you can't even imagine how much you love them!

So Much Fun!!!

Cute story...  I was giving Em a bath tonight and her baby was taking a bath with her.  We were giving baby kisses and of course she wanted me to kiss baby's butt! The next thing I know Emma's on all fours with her hinnie in the air asking me to kiss it!!!!!  Her bath cloth Froggie so kindly obliged her:)

Weeks Ago!

It has been weeks since I've done a blog... Sorry!!!  These pictures are from when my Dad and Jackie were in town at the end of February.  In the first Emma was getting dressed by herself, but ran into a little bit of trouble!  In the second she is trying on "Papa's" size 14 shoe!!!!!!  And in the last picture she is giving her baby a bottle.  

She is ALL about her baby...  The baby does everything, pets Tommy, feels the snow, watches the buses go by, sits with us when we are eating dinner, goes potty on the toilet....  The list goes on and on.  It is so dang cute to watch her interact with it.

Watching Nana Play

I LOVE these pictures of Emma...  She looks so sweet and innocent...

She is not always so sweet and innocent and is getting into her "terrible two's" stage very well, thank you.  she has this glimmer in her eye when you tell her no, or to go do something...  you can just see her thinking "how far can I push them?"  For tie-out I make her sit against the wall while i count to 10....  Well now she has started counting!!!  And it is so dang cute that I have to turn around to keep from laughing.  and then when I get to "10" she says "all done" and again it is so cute!  

AND she is speaking everything she hears us say.  That means she had a number of "Oh crap"'s this week, and two "Oh shit"'s!!!!!
