Elliott has been traveling like CRAZY since Christmas, so we asked Grandma Loerch to come and spend the night one evening last week. Here is a photo of Emma serving her some dinner, I guess!

Elliott slept in Saturday morning (which is common after a week on the road!!!) so Emma and I got to work making a fort! Before I new it she had raided the refrigerator and brought pounds of food in for us to eat in the fort!
You can see we are well stocked with 2 bags of apples, a bag of "cutie" oranges, a bag of carrots, yogurt in two varieties, Swiss cheese, cheese sticks, a carton of salami and craisins! Oh - and don;t forget the gallon of milk, in case we get thirsty:)She just cracks me up, she was so certain and business like as she went to the fridge and back to get just what we needed. She is a real treat these days. We certainly went through some MAJOR struggles in January, but it seems we might be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Emma is determined she can do everything, can make every decision on her own, in addition to telling you what you need to be doing at each minute! And boy, she has no problem letting you know when she is unhappy with the decision you have made.... So many time outs, sending to the rooms, things taken away, tears from her, tears from me - calling Elliott at all hours of the night! BUT - I think we have all grown up a bit in the past two months:)
