Official Weigh In

Emma had her one year check-up today......
26 pounds and 31 1/2 inches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is in the 98th percentile for height and 97th percential for weight. Basically she's a very healthy young girl:) She had to get two shots today, but they've moved up to the arm - and she was NOT happy about that. Fortunately two nurses come in at once and do both arms at once. Poor thing..... She cried most of the way home.

A few more wedding pics here. I think it is so cute how Emma is enthralled with Peter and his wheelchair!
Em happy in her dress, Em crying (which seemed very prevelant this weekend!), Em carrying around a box of cereal meant for the Food Shelves (! - but she wasn't crying!), and Emma and her new friend that she made at the back of the church.

Love to all...

Family Photos

Here are some family photos from the rehearsal and wedding. The Patterson's, three generations of the women folk, Denny and Peter, Denny and Becca getting ready to walk down the aisle, and Bec and Chris when it's all said and done!

Little Bug

Our cute little bug in her cute little bug dress, at Bec and Chris's wedding rehearsal.

The pink dress is at Bec and Chris's wedding on Saturday. Elliott and I stayed out in the hallway with her most of the time, as she has quite a pair of lungs. Not unhappy, just loud:) I know you can see her underpants inthe one pic, but I thought the look on her face was priceless, and SO Emma!

I'll post more wedding pictures tomorrow!

Love to all...

Cheerios/Doochies

My Mom remembered that when I was little, she would make little Cheerio necklaces that I could munch on. Well sweet little Emma was so enthralled that we found her with the whole thing stuffed, honestly, half way down her throat!!!

She LOVES shoes, the bigger and clunkier, the better. They taste great too.

My mom took Emma out for her first sledding experience. Oh goodness, Emma just LOVED it! She sat there as still as could be, holding on to the sides as she turned corners. It was adorable.

The poor thing must be recovering from the trip, AND fighting of some sort of bug. She took TWO two hour naps today, and was asleep tonight by 7:30pm. She took a three hour nap yesterday. And today she developed a cough. She has her 1 year dr. check-up tomorrow, so we will see. Elliott said maybe she wa growing for her "weigh-in"!!!!

Love to all...

Nex time I'll remember....

Emma loved chasing after the bubbles. And next time I'll rememebr to wash off the black beans before I give them to Emma to eat.

Emma and her Great-Grandma Hinrichs celebrated their birthday's together.

Love to all...

Birthday Pie

Em getting ready to fly to MN. She climbed in herself, our little explorer. She LOVES cats especially, but unfotunatley Grandma L's cats are not friendly:( Em would even reach up for the cat calendar so that I could pick her up to kiss it!

Her first birthday cake - Key Lime Pie. You can see the first bite was just whip cream, but the second didn't go over too well and she eventually gagged on the lime part!

Dad likes to play with her hair and we got her mid scream.

Birthday Suit

Yup, she's ONE!!!!! We made it to and from Minnesota all safe and sound. Ema nd El's birthday celebrations were wonderful, and Becca and Chris's wedding was beautiful. These pictures are only a "tip of the ice berg", but I have to go through and rotate tham and delte the not so good one's.

SO I will write all about the trip tomorrow..... We are exhausted and poor Emma has not been feeling well for a number of days now. We both took a two hour nap this afternoon ( I NEVER do that).

You can see sweet Em in her birthday suit and new hat from Grandpa L., rummaging through my purse (no money there!!). Then she figured out how to climb up onto one of Grandma's chairs all by herself. She proceeded to CLIMB UP THE BACK OF THE CHAIR!!!! The last picture she is playing with her new soccer ball from Grandpa.

Thanks to eVERYONE for all of the lovely gifts for both EM and El! Love to all and more tomorrow...
