Em's got a sweet tooth, and after she helped Nana blow out her birthday candles, she helped her lick the frosting off the candles.  When she was done she clapped her hands.

Supa-Dupa-Fly

Last Sunday we had Unlce Peter, Aunt Becca, and Uncle Chris all over for a BBQ.  Emma got all supa-dupa-fly in Mamma's sunglasses!  A favorite activity of hers is to rip them off my head a throw them onto the ground - what a little doll:) ha ha

Cowgirl...

Em's grandpa Hinrichs got her Cowgirl boots at the State Fair (we want her to be a cowgirl for Halloween and then put a saddle on Cooper!!!!).  When she first put them on she danced ALL around the kitchen!  Then yesterday I asked her if she wanted to put on her Cowboy boots...... and she went "Mooooo"  Pretty dang cute, huh?

Horsey

A VERY nice girl let Emma brush her horse, while she was getting it ready to show that afternoon.  Emma loves all animals, really.  However, it does seem the bigger, the better!

Love to all...

Dancin' Queen

She heard some music and couldn't stop herself!

More from the Fair

Emma giving Grandpa some of her tasty ice and water!  half of which she got on herself....

Today Emma said her own "I love you" to me!  She repeated it when I said it to her...   Mamma almost cried!  She also signed and said the word "more" for the first time without being prompted.  AND when she walked into the house this afternoon she saw the picture that we had taken with her, me, and el, at the fair, and she pointed at El's picture.  Too cute....

Poor Cooper had a TERRIBLE time with us being gone.  He lost over 25 lbs, and Elliott had to take him into the emergency room last night when he got home.  Thank goodness he is FINALLY eating tonight.  Talk about separation anxiety!!!!!  So, we are going to have to kennel him the next time, I guess.

Love to all...

State Fair

Em petting the sheep at the "Miracle of Birth Center" at the State Fair.....  In another picture she is CHEWING in the fence, yup, the same pen where the mama and baby sheep are living is where emma is chewing:)  Lovely...

We had a wonderful time at the Fair - once Elliott got over the heat and the peopl, and Emma was able to fall asleep.

We got there about 10:30 am, emma FINALLY Fell asleep at about 2:30.  And would you believe that she fell asleep in the poultry barn, with the Rooster's crowing and the chickens peeping.  It was funny.  She sure did fight it for a LONG time though.  We also got her to "moooo".  Imagine 4 adults stnading around a stroller going "mooo", none to quite, over and over again, as she repeats it - crazy!

So we had a wonderful time with Nana and Grandpa Hinrichs (we think Grandpa is going to work just fine, as by sunday she knew that was his name:))  We ate a TON of food, and didn't end up leaving until 6:15pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Elliott did mention the work "next year" though, so I think we have a convert.

Somehow I am only able to post one picture, so there are more above....  Love to all....
