Elliott, Emma, Cooper and I went back to the park that we had our wedding pictures taken at - exactly 10 years and one week to the date and time! Below are the best of what the photographer got.... we were pretty happy but hope to do something a bit different next time. And we certainly won't wait 10 years! Playing NapTime with my Aunt Judy! How sweet??????
Loving Cooper Dooper

Loving Cooper Dooper
Emma made out like a bandit from Mommy's early shopping morning! My mom and I had such a blast!!!!! The coat was 80percent off from Gymboree and the boots were 50 percent off at Gap kids!!!! And I think she is adorable:) I am a bit biased....
Anyway, it was such a lovely weekend and I feel truly thankful for all the wonderful moments, opportunities and people in my/our lives!

This is what we do on Thursday evening.... Emma found her goggles in the closet, and I came around the corner and she was on the counter trying to dip her head under the faucet:) So the good mommy that I am, I got her a bowl and held it for her so she could dip her eyes in it!!!!! How sweet is she?
I am taking Emma to see the Nutcracker tomorrow night. I am so excited to see her expression - I hope she makes it past intermission!
Love to all...

November at the Patterson's
I have no idea how my pictures ended up this way?!!!! Oh well:) Elliott has been traveling A LOT lately, so my mom came over for a sleep over last week while El was in NYC. Grandma Loerch learned how we play at the Patterson's - gymnastics, tricks, dancing, circus-ing! Below you see Emma in her gown - she LOVES to play dress-up so I went to Savers and bought her a few used dresses.

Emma, Grandma and I practicing our circus tricks.

Daddy sold some of his "gear" the other night, and gave Emma some special money to spend at Target. Surprise of all surprises, Emma chose out a new baby doll! She is obsessed with babies, and this one had a carrier, so she can wear it!!! The final picture is of her on the couch this morning, watching "Little Bill" on Nick Jr. The baby has not come off her body since she got it yesterday!

Happy Halloween!!!!
Our silly Emma is in to scary icky things, and I did all I could to get her to NOT pick out a gory mask this year! I told her she would scare the little kids at daycare!:) Bad Mom?!
When deciding what she wanted to bring to Carol's for the other kids, however, she went scary crazy - forked eyeballs!
Love to all....

Happy Halloween!
A couple of weekends ago Papa Jim came out from Michigan! Emma ran up to give him a huge hug - that never gets old. Great Grandma Dorothy and Aunt Judy also came over for the day. Below Emma and Papa are starting a Halloween Haunted House - gotta love Target!

Emma Krumbee's Apple Orchard
We went to Emma Krumbee's for the third year in a row, this past weekend. It was HOT - 80's by the time the sun came out - but we had a lovely time!

You notice in the picture above that Elliott is in the air, but Emma isn't - that can only mean one thing.... Emma face-planted it! She was OK though
Singing and dancing - her two favorite things. She will sing all day long, in the back of the car, in the living room - anywhere! And she makes up songs too, or will sing different words to a well known song. I love to hear and see her learning that way!Riding the camel... Nick!

Dancing with her FAVORITE baby - the 25cent one that is naked with crazy hair from a garage sale! She is so cute with her babies - cares for them, kisses them goodnight and says "don't let the bed bugs bite"
So obviously the reason we went to the apple orchard was to pick apples.... no such luck! they were DONE picking for the season (when I called on Thursday that was not the case!). Of course, thankfully Elliott is all too comfortable taking matters in to his own hands. We found a ladder out in the Orchard and our little girls was as happy as a lark!
Stomping on the rotten ones...
So sweet - and so independent. She wants and needs to do every little thing on her own, like carrying the apples, or deciding who will carry them!
BEST FRIENDS
Apparently you are supposed to enter the pumpkin patch somewhere other than from the orchard - Elliott again didn't hesitate to take matters into his own hands:)
Somehow Emma got it in to her head that she needed to line all the pumpkins up!!!!! She is so dang strong..

On the way out of town Elliott stopped at a Farm Distributor that he had promised Em would stop at, on our way in!

On the way out of town Elliott stopped at a Farm Distributor that he had promised Em would stop at, on our way in! We had a great time, and are looking forward to a full couple of weeks. Our ten year anniversary is this Thursday, the 14th - can't believe it! Next week we are going back to the same park where we had our wedding pictures taken and having family photos taken!!!!! We have never had anything done professionally since our wedding, so I am really excited.
Emma and I drove past the park the other morning to make sure the leaves would still be turning and I told her that is where mommy and daddy went on the day we got married. She said, "mommy, am I married?" "I said no" and she said "Well, who am I then?????" SO CUTE!!!
Love to all...
