Spring Outing

We took Emma on a spring outing yesterday (today we are getting a blizzard!!!!!!!!!!).  We went to a tiny petting zoo at a local garden store.  Emma loved the bunnies but was seriously scared of the loud "baa- aaa"ing goat and lamb!  She wouldn't go near them and even hid behind me!

We went to lunch with Papa and Mama Loerch, then to the YMCA for an Easter Egg Hunt (which was more like an egg grab but that's ok).  Emma just wanted to throw the eggs!  Like a ball, until the last two she finally got that we could put them in the bag and keep them!  She enjoyed eating the candy, as she has s sweet tooth like her Mommy.  The BEST part was the "big bunny" as she called it.  She was ENAMORED with the Easter Bunny!!!!!  Even me and Mama had to take our turns hugging the bunny!  And she jumped and danced and clapped for the bunny, took about 6 visits over to her.  It was cute....

Cute side note....  Emma came up and smelled my butt today and said "poopy mommy, pee-you"!!!!!!!!  I said, "oh, that's how mommy checks if you have a dirty diaper, huh?"  she agreed!!!!!!
