Our first week with little Emma was just wonderful! Grandma and Grandpa Loerch were here to welcome her and help us with household duties - letting out the animals and feeding them, making dinner, and building a fence to keep in the hound dog! We took our first trip to the grocery store, Emma in her sling. Grandpa even watched her all by himself as we ran an errand...
Emma has been the apple of our eye - ALL of us. We have loved every little snort she makes when she is hungry, watching her little "turtle" neck as she reaches for food, giving her her first bath in the sink, watching as she found her fingers to suck on for the first time. She is such a good little girl, she is so content we can't believe how lucky we are. The highlight of our day is when she decides to open her eyes and join our world for an hour or so; the faces that she makes is all the entertainment we need for the day.
